About Our Speaker: Oleg Lougheed is a nationally recognized speaker and the founder of Moments Worth Remembering. He has a gift for turning life's hardest moments into lessons worth sharing. Inspired by John Kralik's book "365 Thank Yous," he transformed a childhood marked by loss and separation into a mission to help others heal and find the good in every experience.

Guided by gratitude, Oleg encourages audiences to forgive, connect, and appreciate the people who shape their lives. Whether through a heartfelt note, an honest conversation, or a small act of kindness, his message is steady: no matter how hard life gets, there is always something to be grateful for. His work has been featured on TED and on FOX, NBC, ABC, and CBS stations across the country.

Presentation Title: The One Thing You Wish You Knew Sooner

Presentation Synopsis: In this 60-minute session, we'll explore one idea that can change the way we live and connect with others: understanding the impact we have on the people around us. In personal relationships, at work, and even in passing encounters, our words, actions, and presence carry more weight than we tend to realize. Through reflection, storytelling, and practical takeaways, Oleg will help you recognize your own influence and show how embracing it leads to deeper connections, better decisions, and a more intentional life.

Learning Objectives:

By the end of this session, attendees will be able to:

  • Recognize their personal impact. Build self-awareness of how your words, actions, and presence influence others across personal, professional, and casual settings, and learn to notice that impact in real time.
  • Strengthen communication and relationships. Use your influence intentionally to foster deeper connections, communicate more effectively, and create more positive, productive interactions.
  • Apply emotional intelligence to decisions. Leverage emotional intelligence to make more intentional choices, both personally and professionally, that lead to stronger relationships and more effective leadership.
